The range of produce is never the same in any year. Depending on weather, insects, birds, slugs and other factors, some things have grown well and others failed totally . Jerusalem artichokes and rhubarb are successful every year so far. Most of the salad is grown in polytunnels.
Apple pressing facilities.
Mobile apple pressing service available.
As well as processing our own apple harvest making fresh or pasteurised apple juice, cider and puree, we can visit your site with our apple mill and fruit press. You can provide your own bottles or buy ours, which can be pasteurised and will keep for a couple of years. Prices will be available a little later, or we can work out a quote. Campsite.
Basic camping for tents only.
The opportunity for an open fire and (when available), a starry night sky. Compost toilets and an open air shower. Club membership is free. We aim to keep the experience as near to wild camping as we can but with a few basic amenities. There is a campers kitchen available for food preparation and cooking on a gas cooker if required.
Bell tents are also available to hire if you can't carry your own.
